Join us for our second panel event… Writing a nonprofit annual report can be challenging. How do you express gratefulness to supporters while drawing in potential donors? How do you make it relevant and engaging without being overwhelming and dry? Our panel of professionals have assisted many organizations in creating an annual report that showcases their accomplishments over the past year. Our panel presenters want to talk with you, sharing their experiences and hearing yours. Come prepared with questions!
About our presenters:
Melissa Carlson
Melissa Carlson Creative
Melissa Carlson has owned Melissa Carlson Creative for 25 years. Most of her clients have been with her for over a decade. They like that she is honest, on time, meets their deadlines (and their budgets), has a sense of humor, and consistently produces good work. There is nothing she likes better than having a client come to her with a design or branding challenge. That is when she gets to roll up her sleeves and apply all she knows about the client, the marketplace and the power of good design. She has enjoyed sketching and exploring typography, color and texture her entire life.
Leslie Blaize
Blaize Communications
Leslie Blaize owns Blaize Communications in Madison, WI. She is a B2B freelance writer with extensive experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry. When busy marketing departments need help, they call her to create content. She also enjoys teaching drama to elementary students through an afterschool program.
Kyle Wege
Crimson Sun Studios
Kyle has been working full time as a photographer for almost eight years with his primary focus being commercial photography. Through his experience creating photographic content for businesses and non-profits, Kyle offers insight into visually connecting with your audience and telling your story. Along with being a photographer and content creator, Kyle is a husband and father, as well as a working and touring musician with a few Madison-based bands.
Robert McClean
Kramer Madison
Born and raised on the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean, Robert has been living in Madison, WI since June 2016. He joined Kramer Madison as an account executive and has worked with a range of companies and industries during that time, helping with design, marketing, print, and fulfillment. Robert’s background in food and beverage taught him to always work to do what is best for his customer. Great with people and knowledgeable about printing, he is always happy to answer marketing questions.
This event is free of charge.
