Nicholas Curran, CPA, CNAP
Chief Executive Officer
Nick has been involved in public accounting since 1998. He shifted his focus to provide specialized accounting services to nonprofit organizations in 2006. He leads the N4N team in preparing nonprofits for annual audits, assisting with annual budgeting, creating forward-focused financial projections, and offering vital outside perspective. Nick is active in AICPA, WICPA, Downtown Madison Rotary, and Tocqueville Society of United Way of Dane County. He was recognized in In Business magazine’s 40 Under 40 and was part of Leadership Greater Madison 14. Nick is proud to be a 2022 IRONMAN Wisconsin finisher. He enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, and cheering on the Packers and Badgers.

Amanda Daiello-Curylo, CNAP
Nonprofit Lead Accountant II
Amanda is excited to join the N4N team bringing 12+ years of experience in accounting, management, HR, and operations in multiple industries. She has been primarily working in the accounting field for the past 7 years in various business entities. She has a passion for the details and policies that working for nonprofits brings. On the weekends you can find her floating on her pontoon boat enjoying time with family and friends!

Nonprofit Accounting Senior Team Lead
Becca has over 20 years of experience in various accounting roles. Becca has worked as a Controller for retail and construction based companies. She has also worked in the Finance Department handling payroll and human resources for a local municipality. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, outdoor activities with her family, playing softball and running.

Becca received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 2014 and has spent the last 10 years working in various areas of accounting before discovering her passion for nonprofits. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs, as well as reading and baking sourdough.

Betsy Spore, MBA, CNAP
Director of Nonprofit Consulting
Betsy Spore is a dedicated accounting professional with a diverse background in the nonprofit sector. With over 14 years of experience in the nonprofit industry she has navigated software implementations, payroll, revenue, financial statements, and internal controls. Betsy’s additional experience in government, health insurance, benefits administration, construction, retail and banking, demonstrates a commitment to diversified knowledge while making a positive impact. Prior to joining N4N, Betsy worked as Director of Finance and Accounting for a growth-driven, technology-based nonprofit where she successfully led and managed teams, developed and implemented strategic initiatives, and forged strong partnerships with stakeholders to maximize the organization’s impact. She currently lives in Lake Mills, Wisconsin and spends her free time on the lake with friends and family. She also enjoys her pets, mindfulness, live music, and exploring new places.

Candace is a skilled Accounting Professional bringing 12+ years of experience in various industries. Before joining N4N she worked at a multi-client bookkeeping firm where she did full-cycle accounting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, playing board games, reading, baking and spoiling her cat.

Christopher began his career after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Wisconsin – Green Bay in 2018. Christopher has spent the past five years working with a variety of nonprofit organizations including Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, skiing, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Cierra Loth, CNAP
Nonprofit Support Accountant II
Cierra Loth has an extensive background in small business accounting and special projects. With strengths in research and organization, Cierra is often called on to answer niche questions, make sense of complex sets of data, and develop the resources teams need to succeed. In her most recent role, Cierra managed bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, and taxes for several small businesses as part of an accounting firm. She also led a community outreach project to educate small business owners about the new Federal filing requirements for the year. In her spare time, Cierra and her husband enjoy camping, reading, playing board games, building Lego creations, cooking, and more.

Ella Schwierske
Operations Manager
Ella Schwierske joins the N4N team passionate to once again, serve the nonprofit community! Ella is used to a fast-paced work environment having spent the past 6 years working to coordinate projects and supporting busy IT Departments and software development teams. Prior to that, Ella brings over 7 years of experience in political communications having worked on both the governmental and NGO sides of environmental policy advocacy. She specializes in fundraising, events planning, campaign management and grants management. Ella is a proud Badger, holding a dual degree from the UW-Madison in the Biological Aspects of Conservation and Political Science. After work, Ella loves to be active and is an enthusiastic member of the Peloton community, also playing on numerous soccer and softball teams. Ella lives in Mt. Horeb with her husband Scott and their two cats.

Heather Throneberry, CNAP
Nonprofit Lead Accountant
Heather Throneberry lived in Ohio until moving to West Tennessee for college, where she earned a BBA in Management. She worked in event planning and meeting support, first at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, then in Nashville, TN. In 2011 Heather began working for a young local nonprofit as their fundraising event planner and the Office and Financial Manager. As the organization grew, so did Heather’s accounting knowledge. In 2020 Heather transitioned to a firm where she managed the books for 7 nonprofits of various sizes. In an effort to take the next step of growth in the world of accounting, Heather joined the N4N team in February of 2024. Heather lives in Nashville with her husband and two children. She is a huge music fan, enjoys reading, traveling, and all things summer.

Jen Busch, CNAP
Nonprofit Lead Accountant
Jen brings over 12 years of nonprofit operations experience to her accounting career at N4N. She most recently served as the Operations Director at a music education nonprofit on Chicago’s south side, where she developed and implemented strategic financial and HR initiatives while overseeing daily accounting and operations. Jen also has experience in accounting across various industries but is excited to join the N4N team and return to the nonprofit sector. Jen is passionate about advancing social equity and is eager to collaborate with mission-driven organizations making a positive impact in their communities. Jen lives in Chicago with her beloved dog, Sharkie, and enjoys ceramics, knitting, music, and riding bikes in her free time.

KariMae has enjoyed over 15 years of finance and accounting work for private industry, federal government entities, and small businesses. Before joining N4N, she took a one-year hiatus from accounting to support her kids’ school as a secondary math teacher. Her hobbies include gardening, reading about political conspiracies, and spending time with family.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Kayla obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting and Tax from the University of Arizona before arriving in Wisconsin in 2018. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys caring for her pets, two dogs and a rabbit, and traveling whenever possible.

Kelley Guasp, CNAP
Nonprofit Accounting Team Lead
Kelley’s accounting journey began 25 years ago in Las Vegas, NV. After working in the hotel & casino industry for 5 years there and in Lake Tahoe, she moved to Northern California to help open an Indian Casino. After her 9 year stint as Financial Controller, Kelley and her family moved to Southern Montana. Here is where she started accounting for small businesses and nonprofits. Most recently Kelley was handling billing and payroll for a nationwide education company. In her free time, Kelley enjoys watching her kids play multiple sports, volunteering for her church, and watching hockey.

Kendra has 6 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry. Her career began after obtaining her bachelor’s degree from LaGrange College in 2018. While working as a staff accountant she furthered her study in accounting and received her MBA in Accounting in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and traveling.

Kristin Couillard
Nonprofit Support Accountant II
Kristin earned her bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Public & Nonprofit Management from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. She has worked in various office manager and accounting roles for over 20 years. In her free time, Kristin enjoys going to a variety of Badger sporting events with her husband and kids. Her favorite activity though is cheering on her oldest son on the soccer field and her youngest son stopping goals at the hockey rink.

Kristin Rucinski
Nonprofit Consultant
After earning her master’s degree in social work from UW–Madison, Kristin has spent more than 20 years in the nonprofit sector, with experience spanning direct service, organizational leadership, and consulting with nonprofit executives and boards. She is passionate about sharing the knowledge she has gained throughout her career while continuing to learn from the organizations and leaders she partners with. Kristin currently serves as the executive director of Shelter Friends of Dane County through a contract with Numbers 4 Nonprofits. She has been actively involved in nonprofit governance, serving on several boards and committees, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for The Playing Field and Own It: Building Black Wealth. She is an avid sports fan and a proud Indiana University alum.

Lana Becker, CPA
Nonprofit Financial Consultant
A native of Wisconsin, Lana has spent over 13 years in nonprofit accounting as the Director of Financial Accounting, Compensation and Treasury for University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation. Her range of experience includes Controller for small businesses (14 years) to Director of Financial Reporting for the University of Wisconsin System. Lana is dedicated to bring her range of expertise and perspectives to help support N4N clients in achieving their financial goals. Lana believes in a balanced healthy lifestyle. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, fitness and outdoor activities, and traveling. She received her bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Arizona State University and her CPA designation.

Leah Lange
Nonprofit Lead Accountant
Leah started her career in nonprofit accounting in 2001 working for a large, member-based association.Through the years she simultaneously maintained the books of multiple nonprofit subsidiaries and partners. She served as secretary to the Southwest Chapter of the Wisconsin Association of Accountants when she was an Accredited Business Accountant. Leah finds the necessary level of detail in revenue and expense recognition for nonprofits to be highly satisfying. When the weather is nice she likes cruising country roads on her motorcycle or working on her Vintage Airstream.

Nonprofit Lead Accountant
Melissa is a Maine native with more than 20 years of accounting experience across a diverse set of industries—including manufacturing, insurance, construction, municipalities, school districts, and nonprofit organizations. Over the past three years, she has focused exclusively on serving nonprofit organizations, most recently as Finance Manager for a small nonprofit entity. She is deeply committed to advancing nonprofit missions through ethical financial stewardship and delivering exceptional client satisfaction. Outside of her professional role, Melissa loves hiking the mountains of Maine and New Hampshire, paddleboarding, running, cycling, and camping.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a BA degree in Finance and Accounting, Michael worked in the mortgage and insurance industries before moving to Madison, WI. He most recently has worked as the Business and Operations Manager for a small nonprofit organization in the Madison area for the past 4 years. In his spare time, Michael enjoys being outside, playing softball, golf and fly fishing.

Pam Stone joins Numbers 4 Nonprofits with over 15 years of bookkeeping experience. She has a deep commitment to the nonprofit sector, having started and managed a small nonprofit for 13 years. Pam holds an associate degree in accounting from Northwood Technical College. She is excited to be part of a team that shares her passion for supporting nonprofits and serving their communities. In her free time, Pam enjoys spending time with family, painting, playing guitar, and hiking.

Rebecca Curran
Operations Assistant
Rebecca holds a BS from UW Madison with an emphasis in Graphic Design. She has served in many roles in Nick’s beginning ventures and is excited to help N4N now that their kids are older. Becca assists with firm marketing and graphic design, client annual filings, event management, and service project coordination. When not on the job you can find her driving her kids to swim practice, spending time with friends and family, going for a run, or doing something creative.

Rose Nguyen
Nonprofit Lead Accountant
Rose has a BA in Accounting from Goshen College, Indiana. Her first 10 years of her career was with public accounting firms with a focus on preparing and reviewing tax returns for businesses and individuals with different industries. During that time, she got to work with N4N when it was partnered with a local CPA firm in Madison, WI, where she developed a passion for nonprofits accounting. Rose then spent the next 4 years working as Accounting Manager for Affordable Housings in Wisconsin and California. She most recently worked as Assistant Controller for an HOA management company in Irvine, CA. Rose is very excited about returning to work for N4N and to contribute her expertise to the team. She currently lives in Orlando, FL and enjoys exploring new places with family and salsa dancing.

Sara came to N4N after nine years in public accounting doing nonprofit audit and tax in the Milwaukee area. Her experience in the industry, as well as a board member and volunteer, continues to fuel her passion for working with nonprofits. Sara is a CPA, with a master’s degree in Accounting from UW-Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brown University. Sara lives with her two dogs in Wauwatosa, and spends her time reading, hiking, baking, and enjoying all the activities and food Milwaukee has to offer.

Tiana McClellan is an Accounting and Grants Subject Matter Expert (SME) professional with over 12 years of experience in accounting, analytics and full cycle grant management. She holds a bachelor of science in Accounting from Florida A&M University and a master’s in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Wayne State University. As a Nonprofit Lead Accountant, she specializes in strengthening financial compliance, optimizing funding, and supporting data-driven decision-making across complex mission-driven environments.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Torin began a master’s degree in Student Affairs and Administration. During this time, He worked at the University of Wisconsin-Hillel and interned at the Morgridge Center for Public Service. After receiving his degree, he began working at Madison’s Neighborhood House Community Center as an Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading, fencing, and board games with friends.
